2011 Hanse 445 — Fethiye, Turkey

Preliminary listing. The exterior profile images shown are manufacturer photographs of the model, not of this vessel. Photography of this specific boat, taken during a May 2026 on-board inspection, is available on request, and a complete current photo set will follow.

A well-cared-for example of one of Hanse's most successful cruising designs, lying in Fethiye on Turkey's southwest coast. Inspected on board in May 2026, she is dry, clean and in genuinely good order throughout, with no damage found to hull or deck and no gelcoat deformation.

The 445 is a Judel/Vrolijk design built around easy shorthanded sailing. The self-tacking furling jib and single-line reefing mainsail mean the boat can be tacked and reefed without leaving the wheel, and the fractional rig with 97.7 m² of working sail gives her genuine performance without a demanding sail plan. Below, the beam is carried well aft, producing a saloon and cabins that feel considerably larger than 44 feet.

On deck: North Sails main and genoa, both in good condition. Lewmar self-tailing manual winches. Lofrans vertical windlass, clean and working. Teak in the cockpit, on the seating and across the swim platform, all sound. Bimini in good condition. Stanchions and guardrails true, hatches undamaged. A 3.3 hp Mariner outboard on the pushpit for the tender.

Below: three staterooms in the classic 445 arrangement — owner's cabin forward with ensuite head, and two symmetric double guest cabins aft, sharing the day head. A separate shower compartment keeps the wet space out of the heads. Wooden joinery undamaged. Saloon cushions and cabin mattresses sound. Galley fully equipped with gimballed stove and oven, twin stainless sinks and refrigeration. Chart table panel switches all functional, VHF working, Garmin GPS and Raymarine instruments operational.

The detail that tells you most about how she's been kept: the bilge is dry and clean, and there is no dampness or odour anywhere aboard — the result of a dehumidifier running continuously and regular servicing. On a fifteen-year-old boat in a Mediterranean climate, that is not a given.

The Volvo Penta D2-55 is well maintained, started readily on inspection and shows 3,790 hours. The Side-Power bow thruster is scheduled for service at this season's haul-out.

She is honestly presented rather than dressed up. She wants a professional detail and a compound and polish when she comes ashore for seasonal maintenance, and the saloon table would benefit from revarnishing. Beyond that she needs nothing.

Documentation has been reviewed and is complete, with no outstanding debts or liens. Insurance and harbourmaster records confirm no damage history.

Available for viewing in Fethiye at any time. Buyers are encouraged to appoint their own surveyor, and we will assist fully with survey, sea trial and haul-out.
