Sea Cow is a 2005 49' DeFever CPMY (know as 44+5 model as it added 5' to the very popular 44' model). She is ready to cast off lines and travel . She was on her second Great Loop until owner health issues makes her available. This popular sundeck layout offers aft full-beam master stateroom, large flybridge and a spacious cockpit. Fully outfitted for extended cursing including Twin Perkins Saber 135 HP main engines, stand up engine room, two westerbeke generators, Naida stabilizers, bow thruster, Flo Scan fuel monitoring, FIC fuel purifier, oil change system, watermaker, Starlink, AIS (send/receive), and Bosch washer and dryer. Sea Cow is a Great Loop veteran and has also cruised the Caribbean.

Easy access from boarding gates midship on each side-deck safety rail or from the swim platform. From the swim platform, you step through the transom gate into the spacious cockpit and step up three steps onto the sundeck. You ascend 4 molded steps to a large flybridge with generous eating, helm forward and aft there is tender storage with a crane. There is direct entrance to salon from sundeck or either side deck walkaround via side deck access doors. Once inside the salon, aft is the full beam master stateroom with ensuite head, separate shower, desk/vanity, and laundry closet. The galley is port aft, a large salon seating/lounging/entertaining area, 2 stools at breakfast bar and hi/lo folding teak table 2-person sofa/lounge to port, starboard lounge chair, and helm. Forward down 3 step stairs is the guest stateroom with ensuite head with separate shower plus access to a spacious stand-up engine room. The lowest cabin headroom is 6'3".

Sea Cow offers a full-beam master stateroom aft with a centerline queen-sized berth and ensuite head with enclosed shower; and a guest stateroom forward with over/under bunks and an ensuite head with enclose shower stall.

The salon is huge and offers 2 stools at breakfast bar, to port sofa/lounge hi/lo folding teak table side deck access door, and chart drawer port forward helm. To starboard forward is helm/wheel, side deck access door, recliner chair, floor lamp, large credenza with freezer, trash compactor. The solon is bright, airy with large side windows with coverings of blinds and curtains, accented by reading lights and teak parquet soles.

Dining space is available at the salon hi/lo folding teak table, sundeck and flybridge.

The full-beam master stateroom aft offers a centerline queen size berth, nightstands, reading lights, 2 X transom hatches with curtains, 6 portlights, teak parquet sole, 3 X hanging lockers, full-length mirror, desk/vanity, night stands, storage cabinets and drawers and ensuite head with enclosed shower. Port closet with separate washer and dryer.

The guest stateroom is located forward with over/under bunks, 3 portlights with curtains, overhead deck hatch with screen, storage cabinets, hanging locker, fans, teak parquet sole and ensuite head. Head includes a separate shower and molded Corian sink. Access to the stand-up Engine room is located in guest stateroom.

A wonderful addition to any cruising vessel the Washer- Bosch WFL 2060 is a compact 24-inch front-load washing machine featuring a 2.1 cubic foot capacity, a maximum spin speed of 1,000 RPM, and hot/cold water intake options. Dryer - Bosch WTA 3510 is an apartment-sized, compact electric vented dryer. It runs on a 240V AC, 15A, 60 Hz power supply and features a 4.8 cubic foot stainless steel drum. Both are located in master stateroom walk-in closet.

The lower helm is located starboard forward in the salon. Helm station electronics include Garmin MFD, Flow Scan, VHF, Stabilizer roll control, ACR spotlight control, intercom, window wipers. Side access door for quick access to side deck.

A spacious flybridge included 2 Tracy helm chairs, bench seats forward and side with storage underneath. (Cushions new 2024). Bimini with Isinglass/canvas enclosure (new 2022). Helm has storage underneath and a full suite of electronics. Hi/lo table for dining. Radar arch which is hinged.

Bridge clearance is reported to be 16'6" with radar down and 20'7" with arch up.

Sea Cow offers the popular massive sundeck and this one is fully enclosed (New 2022) and screens over weather boards. There are no teak decks and the non-skid is in very good condition. The steps to the flybridge are forward next to the interior entry door. There are full walk around side decks from the sundeck. The steps to the cockpit are to starboard. There is a folding serving table forward, stainless steel rails, deck storage box with seat cushion and a icemaker in the wet bar. The seating is provided by a whicker settee and 2 chairs with dust covers. These can be removed when cruising if personal preference is to have a more open sundeck space.

The cockpit offers teak cap rails and non-skid decks, transom gate to the swim platform, molded-in steps to the sundeck, lazarette access, deck storage box, stainless steel fender racks, dive bottle storage, 2 rod holders, hot/cold fresh water shower and large, covered hatches for the master stateroom to enjoy natural ventilation and light.
